 It’s Thursday & almost the weekend! Yay! What have you accomplished this week? Did you start your workout plan? Eat Healthy? Written down your goals at all? Tell yourself you will start Monday? Making healthy choices can be tough! Working crazy hours, a long commute, kids to take care of, meetings, etc can easily get us off track.

I KNOW these things as it took me a long time to make getting healthy a priority. It was easy to grab the fast food, sit on the couch, sleep in. I got tired of always wanting to be healthy, fit better in my clothes, being tired, unhappy. I told myself I could not live this way, something HAD to change.  I had been a chronic dieter, going from one fad to the other, losing some weight, gaining it back which lead to defeat and depression. I remember sitting watching the P90X infomerical for I think the 20th time and finally just DECIDING that this was MY CHANCE. Did I know it would be the RIGHT answer for me at the time…NO! BUT, I decided that this was a PRIORITY! I was in another country (Canada), working 7 days a week as an intern. Let’s just say intern wages are barely survive wages…
Success comes down to Mindset! I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT! You just need to MAKE the decision!  
When it comes to mastering our mindset, most of us harbor negative thoughts. In fact, some studies show that more than 90% of our approximately 60,000-70,000 thoughts each day are negative, and most are the same as the previous day.
Your thoughts and your mindset determine your outward actions.

  • Sometimes I have days when I dont want to workout and I keep trying to find productive things to do so I can cross something else off my to do list so it cld be a good excuse to not workout. But in the end my vision board w/those 6 pack abs ALWAYS make me push play. Once I do I’m so glad I did! great post!!
